Game Room Coming To Xbox Live With Over 1000 Games

I think i posted a thread awhile back about a possible xbox 360 version of the ps3 home. If i didnt then i am posting it now Laughing

So it has been officially announced that xbox will receive a "games room" this spring, basically users will be able to take their Avatars into their very own virtual Game Room filled with arcade cabinets and other retro paraphernalia, before inviting Xbox Live friends into the customisable arcade haven.

The service will initially roll out with 30 titles but will be constantly expanded each week with over 1000 games promised over the next three years.

You'll be able to purchase Game Room arcade titles outright for between 240-400MS Points or play them once for 40MS Points.

I will try and dig out some screenshots what i posted early last year.

The price plan is as follows:

It is free to access your personal arcade in Game Room.

If you want to play a game on both the Xbox 360 and a Windows PC, you can purchase a game for 400 Microsoft points ($5).

If you want to play a game on either the Xbox 360 or a Windows PC, you can purchase a game for 240 Microsoft points ($3).

You can also pay to play a single game (just like in an amusement arcade) which will cost you 40 Microsoft points ($0.50) a go.
